EXTENSION OF TOURIST VISA

• Copy of I-94
• Copy of valid passport
• Written statement explaining the reasons why you need an extension of stay.
• Proof of the temporary nature of your stay. (show bills from home abroad, phone, electricity, rent, etc.)
• Statement in which you describe your intention concerning departure from the US
• Copy of ticket showing departure date. "Open" tickets and reservations are not acceptable.
• Copies of last 3 months of your personal bank statements that shows sufficient funds to support yourself while in US. If US sponsor provides your funds, send a copy of his latest IRS form 1040 and copies of his last 3 personal bank statements.
• Legible photocopies of passport pages containing your US visa, US Immigration stamps, personal data, and validity dates.
• All documents must be translated into English if applicable.
